OCKEE or "Ock-ee"

"Ockee" is short for octopus! In scuba diving, your octopus keeps you alive. It’s slang for the secondary demand valve, the device that provides you air. It’s also an awesome, intelligent and social cephalopod. OCKEE!

At Ockee we are all about helping you live out your own personal brand of adventure and are starting with what we know - scuba diving and the ocean.

Before we get in too deep building out a product we want to find out what motivates current divers as well as what the barriers of entry are for prospective divers. So, we are hoping you can spare a few minutes to share your thoughts in our mini study.

Led by an adventure loving Aussie (Elisa), we are a group of scuba divers that want to captivate, motivate and inspire old, current and new divers to wet those fins and keep blowing bubbles. We want to share our passion for the ocean and spread messages about marine conservation.

The goal is to learn about you, our community. We want to understand why you dive and why you don’t - your passions and your frustrations . Then, we will set out on a journey create a place where both divers and non-divers can share and leverage their passion for the diving and preserving our oceans to create waves and influence positive change.

You can complete our survey (and enter your email) or subscribe with the "Sign Up" link below. Once we have that, we'll review the feedback and stay in touch with our progress. You can also keep track of our journey on Instagram and Facebook. Last but not least, don't forget to spread Ockee to your friends!

Join Our Study

Share with us some of your thoughts on scuba diving and other ocean related activities. You don't need to be a certified SCUBA diver to participate, you just need to have thoughts and be willing to share them!

Remember, in these types of studies honesty is key. You can share as much or as little as you like. All questions are optional, but it is best for us if you go right through to the end. For the majority of you, it should take less than 5 minutes. All you need to do is hit start!
